There are no more excuses. It’s finally sunny outside, and it’s not too chilly anymore. It’s time to get back outside and exercise.
Here are a few tips to get you through your winter workout.
Allow for extra warm-up time. You have to loosen your muscles before exercising, and this takes a little longer in cold conditions.
Wear sunscreen. Contrary to popular belief, you can still get a sunburn in the winter! Also, wear lip balm so you don’t get cracked skin.
Avoid wearing cotton. Cotton tends to absorb sweat, which would only make your workout more uncomfortable. Look for clothes that repel moisture, like Under Armour.
